Myths explained:
1. A loose bra is more comfortable.
Fact: A bra that is too large in the back (i.e. the band size) causes the most discomfort. A loose bra cannot support your bust and so the weight of your bust is transferred to the shoulder straps. The band should be snug and the shoulder straps should only stabilize the bra.
2. You should buy a bra that is on the tightest hooks.
Fact: You should buy a bra that fits snugly and firmly on the loosest position. Most bras will stretch over time through wear. If you buy the bra on the loosest fit, you will be able to simple adjust the band to the next hook available.
3. A minimizer bra will make you look smaller.
Fact: Exactly opposite! - A minimizer bra flattens the breasts downward and to the sides of your body, which gives a wider and thicker appearance to your body. We don’t recommend them!
4. Fuller busted women can not wear strapless.
Fact: With cup sizes that go from D to G, fuller busted women can also wear a strapless bra intended for that special dress or occasion.
